Windy is one of two Haflingers on our farm. She is much more refined and feminine-looking than Hobo, being a girl! She is very pretty with her sorrel coat and white mane and tail.
Windy can be a bit spoiled & stubborn, though - probably because she was raised with not a lot of discipline. Horses and ponies need a lot of training to be well-rounded and happy. Last summer, Windy went to Summer School! Our young Amish friend, Paul Troyer, gave Windy lots of work to do, and put her at the front of a buggy to learn some manners on the country roads.
